The Waterlase Express all-tissue laser system from Biolase Inc. is the fifth generation of the company’s dental laser wavelength.

The system uses a compact, miniaturized version of the patented Waterlase Er,Cr:YSGG laser engine. A patented contra-angle handpiece is designed for improved clinical intraoral access. Cloud-based software, learning and support content delivery and remote diagnostics are also provided, along with new side-firing tips to follow soon for implant thread debridement.

A tablet-based interface makes it easy for new laser dentists to learn quickly high-definition-quality clinical animations for every procedure on-board guiding proper laser techniques. Easy to use procedure presets with a simple, one-slider cutting adjustment control, along with simplified and intuitive clinical workflows for expansive library of over 80 clinical procedures, are featured.
