pco.dicam UHS & LT seriesImage intensifiers increase the intensity of the available light in a system, allowing for better image reproduction in low-light scenarios. One of the key benefits of using an sCMOS-based camera module inside the pco.dicam series – besides high sensitivity, dynamic, and resolution – is the high frame rate at full pixel resolution. A sustained frame rate of 106 fps at 4.2 MPix resolution and 16 bit dynamic has turned into reality. It is not only the fast sCMOS sensor, it is also the ultra-fast CLHS interface which has opened the door to an unprecedented intensified image data rate of 880 MB/s. Our pco.dicam portfolio is well established with the pco.dicam C1, the pco.dicam C4, and since 2020 with the revolutionary new pco.dicam C8 which uses up to 6.8 GB/s with 8 x 10G fibre optic data interface. All of these products use a 25 mm internal image intensifier.
