EINDHOVEN, Netherlands, Dec. 29, 2022 — The Metis Artificial Intelligence Platform from Axelera AI encompasses the Metis AI Processing Unit (AIPU) chip and the Voyager software development kit stack to accelerate computer vision processing at the edge.

The platform is available as cards, boards, and vision systems. The AIPU delivers peak performance of 214 Tera Operations/s (TOPS) with an energy efficiency of 15 TOPS/W at INT8 through a novel Digital In-Memory Computing engine. FP32 ISO-accuracy is achieved without the need to retrain the neural network models. The Voyager SDK stack enables rapid deployment of neural networks in the field.
