BARRINGTON, N.J., April 23, 2015 — Edmund Optics TechSpec Laser-Line Coated Precision Aspheric LensesOffering high damage thresholds and maximized performance in high power, the TechSpec Laser-Line Coated Precision Aspheric Lenses from Edmund Optics are designed for high-power Nd:YAG laser applications.

The lenses are RoHS compliant while minimizing spherical aberration, decreasing laser spot size and maintaining high power per area. They also have high-performance Laser V-coatings with absolute reflectance of less than 0.25 percent at their design wavelength.

The coatings have been optimized for the most popular wavelengths. A UV-fused silica substrate is highly resistant to thermal expansion.
