LYON, France, June 5, 2015 — Varioptic Caspian u-316-7.5Varioptic has announced the addition of the Caspian u-316-7.5 to its range of auto-focus lens modules.

Featuring the Arctic 316 liquid lens, it offers magnification from 2× to 5× and a typical focus range up to 1.7 mm for a working distance of 5 to 7 mm. It refocuses quickly and with no mechanical movement.

The module is designed for microscopy applications in the life sciences and industrial inspection.
