HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill., Jan. 24, 2023 — The VT-Z600 and VT-S1040 automated optical inspection systems from Omron Automation Americas use advanced hardware and sophisticated image processing to deliver reliability and performance at production speeds in pre- and post-reflow inspection.

The VT-Z600 features multidirection and multicolor illumination to achieve stable and flexible inspection. The VT-S1040 also features multidirection and multicolor illumination but also includes artificial intelligence-assisted, micro phase shift 3D reconstruction, which further improves defect detection and first pass yields while reducing false calls. Both systems are designed to have a long operational life in demanding manufacturing environments.
