JENA, Germany, May 27, 2022 — Automated Measuring StationsThe Opticline CA automated shaft measuring instrument from Jentoptik AG provides optical-tactile contour measurement.

With optical contour adjustment via shadow crack, a T3D scanning sensor scans details such as key positions or gears completely. Rotationally symmetrical workpieces with a length of up to 1200 mm with a diameter of up to 230 mm and a weight of up to 60 kg are measured. An updated tailstock for variable clamping force adjustment shortens the cycle times for the reclamping process.
