TAIPEI, Taiwan, Oct. 22, 2019 — The EL SMARTLED series of automotive LED light sources from Everlight Electronics Co. Ltd. provides colorful light combinations for vehicle interiors.

An embedded intelligent integrated circuit driver manages colors and adjusts brightness via a controller. Integration into the RGB LED package controls chromatic aberration within standard deviation color matching. The integrated driver allows the control of thermal runaway by temperature sensing of the red LED. The EL SMARTLED has the capability to gang up to 4,000 LEDs in a series via the LIN interface with a transmission speed of 2 Mbps. Its surface-mount footprint is 3 × 4.1 mm.

Applications include interior light, roof reading lighting, and dashboard displays.
