LATHAM, N.Y., Dec. 21, 2015 — Avalanche PhotodetectorsMarktech Optoelectronics offers avalanche photodetectors in surface-mount packages for visible to near-infrared applications requiring high speed and low noise, such as time-of-flight (lidar) measurements for automotive self-braking and -parking systems.

The devices are optimized for 800- or 905-nm wavelengths, and are available with either a circular 0.04- or 0.2-mm2 active area.
