Hamamatsu.jpgIntroduced by Hamamatsu Corp., the G8931-20 InGaAs avalanche photodiode has a response of 0.9 GHz, a spectral response range of 0.9 to 1.7 μm and peak photosensitivity of 0.9 A/W at 1.55 μm. With an active area of 0.2 mm in diameter, capacitance of 1.5 pF, dark current of 150 nA and breakdown voltage of 40 to 60 V, the photodiode is suitable for spatial light transmission, low-light-level detection, optical time-domain reflectometry and distance measurement applications.
