Three LED Illumination Systems offer differing levels of control, covering the diverse requirements of laboratories and core imaging facilities. The three-channel pE-300ultra offers fast, controllable Illumination. Each channel is controlled via manual pod, USB (with compatibility in all major software programs) and TTL. <20-µs TTL triggering offers high temporal resolution, whether capturing live events or stimulating neurons. Moreover, the ability to fit inline excitation filters removes mechanical latency of filter wheels during multichannel experiments when used with Pinkel or Sedat filter sets. Going one step further, Sequence Runner triggers illumination sequences with a single TTL out of a camera, transforming a manual microscope into a cost-effective three channel automated imaging system.

The three-channel pE-300white offers simple controllable fluorescence. As with the pE-300ultra, each channel can be controlled individually in 1% steps (0-100%). Control is via USB or manual control pod, and the intense illumination is a perfect upgrade to arc lamps for hospital and regular research laboratories. The pE-300lite is the simplest Illumination System, with a manually controlled single channel. This mercury-free arc lamp alternative removes the burdens of traditional illumination, with instant on/off, irradiance control in 1% steps (0-100%) and a simple once-only alignment.

Bringing sustainability to fluorescence microscopy, the pE-300 Series has been registered for the My Green Lab ACT Label since 2018, providing an impartial, third-party certification of the product’s ‘green’ credentials. The pE-300 Series is also unique in being available as a Direct Fit model, which increases irradiance and reduces the cost to buy and run thanks to fewer consumables.
