GREENVILLE, Del., Sept. 10, 2013 — Advanced Motion Controls’ B060A400AC analog brushless servo drive provides up to 21 kW and can output 60 A peak and 30 A continuous, while its B100A400AC provides 35 kW and outputs 100 A peak and 50 A continuous.

The devices can operate with an AC voltage range of 200 to 240 VAC or a DC voltage range of 255 to 373 VDC. The built-in shunt circuit alleviates regeneration issues to increase the maximum deceleration rate of large inertial loads. Modes of operation include current, duty cycle, voltage, IR comp, encoder and hall velocity, and tachometer.

DIP switch-selectable settings allow fine-tuning to match motor and machine dynamics without having to change components on the board. Included are 17 current loop integrator gain settings, 32 current loop proportional gain settings, eight velocity loop integrator gain settings and four tachometer scaling settings.

Applications include assembly/general factory automation, satellite ground station positioning, robotics, testers, metalworking machines, alternative energy control and simulators.
