Infrared Systems Development introduces a thermoelectrically cooled/heated blackbody source for calibration and experimentation with infrared imaging systems and detectors. Model IR-2100 has a 2 x 2-in. active area and operates from -20 to 100 °C. The blackbody surface provides 0.96 ±2% emission and temperature stability better than ±0.2 °C. The IR-301 series microprocessor controller has an LED display to indicate source temperature and an LCD that shows set points and parameters. Optional computer interfaces enable remote operation and calibration.
