BLUE LASER DIODES Micro Laser Systems Inc. offers 473-nm laser diodes for applications in fluorescence spectroscopy, microscopy, genomics, materials analysis, metrology and basic research. The emitters are packaged in the same laser heads as the company's Lepton IV series devices and may be used with its laboratory or OEM laser drivers for research or analytical instrumentation. The blue lasers deliver outputs of 4 or 3 mW in a 2- or 6-mm circular beam, respectively, and they may be operated in CW mode or modulated as required.
