BOSA-C High-Resolution Optical Spectrum Analyzer
Aragon Photonics Labs SLURequest Info
Aragon Photonics has released the BOSA-C high-resolution optical spectrum analyzer (OSA), which measures optical spectra with simultaneously high -resolution (0.08 pm /10MHz) and high dynamic range (> 80dB), for any span in the C band and in real
time.
The BOSA-C, based on Aragon's patented all-optical filtering technology, reveals many interesting features of the optical spectrum of active devices and signals like semiconductor lasers, modulators, pulsed lasers or radio frequency signals.
Among other applications, it can be used to get information about the main parameters of lasers like chirp parameters, relaxation oscillations and RIN values.
The system features advanced functions to analyze the optical spectrum and a built-in macro editor tool that allows the user to program their own experiments, control other external devices or obtain data from the BOSA (Brillouin OSA) spectra and save them in a file for further analysis. The BOSA trace viewer, an external application that can run on any PC, allows viewing, analyzing and comparing BOSA spectra with the functions of the BOSA-C.
