Beam CollimatorsThe LW series of high-performance beam collimators from Optical Surfaces Ltd. is designed for Modulation Transfer Function (MTF) testing of optical systems.

Benefiting from a lightweight design and new assembly technique, the LW series combines high stability, high performance, and short delivery time. It incorporates a low-expansion off-axis parabolic mirror, manufactured to better than λ/10 PV surface accuracy. The optics within system are secured by the use of stress-free mounts and come pre-aligned for optimum performance. The off-axis design produces no central obscuration to ensure highly efficient transmission.

All LW series beam collimators provide a 20-mm field for full compatibility with standard black bodies.
