NORTH LOGAN, Utah, Sept. 22, 2022 — Beam Profiling CameraThe Ophir SP504S Beam Profiling Camera from MKS Instruments Inc. measures large and divergent beams by accurately capturing and analyzing wavelengths from 340 to 1100 nm for beam sizes from 45 µm to 23 × 23 mm.

The camera features a 32.5-mm global shutter CMOS imager, a wide dynamic range of 44.6 dB, a low measurable signal of 0.25 nW/cm2, and high accuracy at NIR wavelengths. A small pixel size of 4.5 µm allows the measurement of laser beams with higher spatial resolution and smaller beam sizes, which is idea for large-beam-diameter applications that require high resolution, or when beam tracking is needed over a large area such as laser material processing, VCSELs, LEDs, and medicine.
