DORTMUND, Germany, Dec. 14, 2016 — Beam Transformation SystemLimo Lissotschenko Mikrooptik GmbH has announced the High Power Beam Transformation System produced from ultra-pure fused silica for high-performance laser diodes.

The system comprises the Fast Axis Collimator FAC160 and a diagonal lens array for a 90° rotation of the laser beam. It comes preassembled on a glass block for easy handling. With a pitch of 200 or 400 µm, the system is capable of coupling up to 50 emitters with an output of approximately 250 to 500 W per bar and a 50 percent fill factor.

The system remains thermally stable, even in industrial high-performance applications, providing reliable functionality across the entire laser system. Featuring a high transmission rate of >98 percent, the systems can be used to couple laser light into a circular fiber and produce a free laser beam.
