Coherent Inc. has announced the release of version
4.3.1 of BeamView-USB for its LaserCam-HR beam profiler system. The updated software
features an improved interface that enhances ease of use, responds more quickly
to user input, and increases speed and functionality. It also provides an “Analysis
Only” function, which enables offline analysis of previously acquired data,
and it supports a variety of data storage devices, including USB, network drives,
RAM disks and internal RAM. As with previous versions of the software package, the
updated edition measures centroid and peak locations, divergence, and pointing stability
beam width/diameter, and provides analysis of Gaussian fit, ellipticity and uniformity.
