LONGMONT, Colo., Nov. 30, 2015 — Beamsplitter CubesAdhesive-free, precision beamsplitter cubes from Perkins Precision Developments LLC are available for high-power laser applications in the visible and near-infrared ranges.

The adhesive-free optical assembly process is an alternative to existing epoxy-based techniques for photonics applications where outgassing and laser damage thresholds are primary concerns. Along with ion-beam-sputtering coating capability and advanced manufacturing, precision polarizing and nonpolarizing prism assemblies are offered with high transmission, high extinction ratio and λ/10 wavefront quality.

The beam splitter cubes are available for single- and narrowband laser wavelengths from 355 to 2000 nm in sizes from 3 × 3 mm to 15 × 15 mm.
