Bioimaging ProbesThe Conjugated Polymer Nanoparticle (CPN) bioimaging probes from Stream Bio Ltd. have been announced by 2BScientific Ltd.

The nontoxic molecular CPNs provide high photostability and sensitivity, with a highly specific targeting and a magnetic cell purification capability, all while requiring no change to existing lab protocols. They are available in four emission wavelengths from 475 to 680 nm, covering blue, green, yellow, and red.

While the devices are initially aimed at in vitro R&D, it is hoped that the roll out of the technology will also positively affect in vivo R&D, diagnostics, and therapeutics. The CPNs can be used in molecular imaging and R&D applications such as flow cytometry, ELISA, FiSH, western blotting FRET, HIS, and lateral flow assays.
