PREMSTAETTEN, Austria, July 26, 2022 — The SFH 7050A and SFH 7060A BIOFY® biomonitoring sensors from ams-OSRAM GmbH feature a small footprint and chip-on-board package.

The sensors combine LEDs and photodiodes in one optical front end, upgraded with die technologies. Suited for space-saving applications such as finger clips or swimming goggles, the module features low integration. It features optical consistency in mass production, minimized system variations due to fixed spacing between emitter and detector chips, and tolerance control at the component level.
