WESTBOROUGH, Mass., Sept. 8, 2023 — The Model BBS500-57 from KPM Analytics is part of the company’s line of blackbody calibration sources. It is ideal for the calibration verification of pyrometers, thermal imaging cameras, FLIR array detectors, spectrophotometers, and optical systems. The BBS500-57 is portable, compact, easy to transport and can be quickly implemented in plants, laboratories, and factories for calibration and calibration verification. The BBS500-57 offers high accuracy at ±0.5 °C at 100 °C (±1.0 °F at 212 °F) and ±1.8 °C at 500 °C (±3.6 °F at 932 °F). The blackbody calibration source unit also offers a large diameter aperture, enabling a wide range of infrared thermometers to be tested/calibrated.
