HERRSCHING, Germany, Dec. 30, 2016 —
SphereOptics GmbH has announced blackbody IR sources from HGH Infrared Systems for the testing of IR systems.
Blackbodies are required in industries for the calibration of pyrometers or IR cameras. In laboratories, they are part of test benches to characterize complex optronic systems. Options include anti-condensation systems for low temperatures, target plates and pattern standards, double emissive area blackbodies and more. The blackbodies are known for their high-level of regulation stability, high and constant spectral emissivity, high thermal uniformity across the emitting surface, reliability according to various environments (laboratories, climatic chamber, outdoor), and their fast response time required for production line applications.
Low- and high-temperature-area blackbodies with large emissive areas are availbale for the characterization of infrared systems performances. High temperature cavity blackbodies are available for high-energy measuring systems calibration. Double extended area blackbodies are available for applications requiring fast switching between temperatures. Vacuum blackbodies and cryogenic temperature blackbodies are available for testing space borne systems.
