With Efficiencies of Greater Than 80 Percent
at the Blaze Wavelength
IRVINE, Calif., Oct. 4 -- Grating manufacturer Spectrum Scientific Inc. (SSI) has expanded its range of blazed holographic gratings with the introduction of additional standard ultraviolet (UV) blazed gratings. According to the company, these gratings, available at blaze wavelengths of 220 nm, 240 nm,
250 nm, 320 nm and 325 nm, typically offer efficiencies of greater than 80 percent at the blaze wavelength and, due to a proprietary blazing technique, exhibit greatly reduced stray light while maximizing the energy over the required spectral range.
SSI UV blazed gratings are available as both plane gratings (in sizes up to 90 x 90 mm) and as aberration-corrected concave gratings. In addition to blazed gratings, SSI also offers sinusoidal profile gratings and high-precision replicated optics.
