Blue Diode LaserThe LDM 500-60blue diode laser from Laserline GmbH is designed for welding nonferrous metals.

The device features a 450-nm wavelength and 500-W power. It was developed within the EFFILAS support measure of the Federal Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF) in close collaboration with Osram and other project partners.

The laser allows for more effective welding processes of nonferrous metals, especially copper.
