MAINZ, Germany, March 10, 2015 — Dilas CompactDilas offers a diode laser system emitting visible blue light at 450 nm, suitable for a range of applications in illumination and materials processing.

The Compact series delivers output power up to 25 W from a 200 or 400 μm fiber with 0.22 NA. Modules are scalable up to 100-W optical output power.

It features passive cooling technology, as well as a 19-in. rack-mountable cooling unit and fiber cables in various lengths.

Applications include the illumination of phosphorous materials for the generation of white light and processing gold and copper.
