CENTENNIAL, Colo., June 7, 2019 — Blue LaserThe 500-W, 450-nm AO-500 industrial blue laser from NUBURU Inc. is designed for materials processing applications.

The AO-500's beam parameter product is <30 mm mrad, enabling rapid, defect-free copper welding, and even welding for dissimilar metals with minimal formation of undesirable intermetallics in the joint. The system’s design individually aligns each of the output beams from a multi-diode packaged chip. Sixteen of these diode packages are efficiently integrated in the AO-500, offering high brightness.

Applications include battery fabrication, automotive component production, e-mobility device fabrication, and electronic packaging.
