The IDS Gigabit Ethernet board-level uEye LE industrial camera series is now available with a high-resolution 5-megapixel CMOS sensor from Aptina for microscopy, industrial inspection and machine vision environments.

The compact device measures 45 × 45 mm and has a maximum cable length of 100 m. The company says that its trigger, flash and two general-purpose I/Os enable its integration, as does its high bandwidth, while an I2C bus allows external devices to be controlled.

It has an image resolution of 2560 × 1920 pixels; an internal 60-MB image memory enables decoupling image acquisition and transfer.

The model is available with either an M12 lens holder for inexpensive S-mount lenses, or with a CS lens mount.
