Bright-Field LEDs
Prior Scientific Instruments Ltd.Request Info
Prior Scientific Instruments Ltd. has announced the LDB100F and LDB101F LEDs, replacing standard light sources and reducing background fluorescence for brightfield microscopy.
Direct coupling to an upright or inverted microscope maximizes the amount of light transmitted to the sample, and produces minimal heat and vibration. The chances of sample damage are minimized, reducing disruption during the imaging process. The light from the LED can be used for contrast techniques, including phase contrast and differential interference contrast imaging.
The LDB100F is controlled by the company’s ProScan III control system, while the LDB101F is a standalone light source with its own power supply.
