CoastalOpticalSystems.jpgCoastal Optical Systems Inc.’s 60-mm UV-VIS-IR 1:4 apo macro lens can achieve apochromatic full correction by combining fluorite and quartz with elements made from high-transmission glasses. Covering the range from 315 to 1100 nm with no focus shift, the lens features manual focus with an automatic diaphragm, an advanced floating element optical design, a Nikon F-mount, an f/4 to f/45 aperture range, 35-mm film and digital format compatibility, 24 × 36-mm maximum format size, 1:1.5 maximum magnification and a 264-mm-to-infinity focus range. Designed for forensics, crime scene documentation, medicine and fine art photography, the lens eliminates ghosts and hot spots with a combination of optical design and advanced ultrabroadband antireflection coatings.
