QUEBEC CITY, Feb. 6, 2017 — Broadband Test DeviceThe MaxTester 635G from Exfo Inc. is a Speedtest-powered broadband test device.

The new software enables operators rolling out FTTx broadband in the residential services market to provide subscribers with expected throughput based on results obtained directly from the testing devices used by technicians in the field. The software integration is meant to test orchestration and real-time 3D analytics solutions for service providers, network equipment manufacturers and web-scale companies.

The technology measures the true TCP throughput over the customer’s G.fast/DSL or Ethernet circuit using the high-end internet connection speed testing.
