CAMARILLO, Calif., March 30, 2022 — Burst-Mode Transimpedance AmplifierThe GN7060 burst-mode transimpedance amplifier from Semtech Corp. is designed for 25GS-PON and HS-PON (Higher Speed Passive Optical Networks) optical line terminal applications to enable next-generation data center single-mode connectivity.

The amplifier features a high-sensitivity, multi-rate 25-, 12.5-, 10-Gbps burst-mode with fast settling time. It includes several patented innovations with low input noise and high dynamic range for burst-mode applications. The GN7060 can be used with the ClearEdge® GN2146 25G external modulator laser and clock and data recovery with an integrated limiting amplifier.
