Toshiba Imaging Systems is offering its Model IK-SM40A CCD color camera with digital signal processing technology. The device has a 410,000-pixel CCD image sensor, 470-line resolution and advanced microlens technology. It can capture images even when they are composed of many intermediate colors. Other features include 15-lux light sensitivity at f/1.6, nine preset electronic shutter speeds and a full auto shutter to 1/50,000 s. The camera is suited for medical, machine vision and quality control applications.
