CCD CameraCritical Link LLC has announced the MityCCD-H11501 CCD camera equipped with the Hamamatsu S11501-1007s, a back-thinned, area-scan CCD image sensor with enhanced near-infrared sensitivity.

The sensor’s performance at wavelengths beyond 800 nm is designed for photometric applications, enabled by the microelectromechanical systems structure on the back of the sensor. The sensor’s binning capability allows for its use in for Raman spectroscopy detectors, enabling higher signal-to-noise and signal processing speed than external circuit methods.

The MityCCD format provides on-board image processing with both a digital signal processor and a field-programmable gate array available for algorithm development. The MityCCD software offers an easy-to-use interface for image setup, acquisition, viewing and data analysis.
