The ChromaPIXA^™ 2K tri-linear CCD line scan camera from Chromasens GmbH is a high-speed device featuring a maximum line rate of 92.7 kHz.

Designed for inline color measurements, the camera detects any variation in color with 2048 × 3 resolution to help improve downstream color processing and satisfy quality standards while helping to eliminate the high cost of production waste. Outputting in LAB format, the chromaPIXA 2K provides unrivaled detection of flaws in web-based color-verification systems with superior consistency. Continuous white balancing guarantees a stable white point to match the application's light source and take into account minor color shifts.

The color calibration system internally converts the CCD sensor’s spectral response to match sRGB, eciRGB, AdobeRGB, CIE-L*a*b*, or CIE-XYZ profile standards in real time. For added versatility, F-mount or C-mount lenses can be used.
