SICK Inc.Request Info
MINNEAPOLIS, July 26, 2013 — The new CM12 capacitive sensor from Sick comes enclosed in an M12 threaded housing and features a unique teach button, making it suited for detection tasks in the commercial goods, machine building, electronics and solar industries.
The two-point teach button offers one mode for maximum sensitivity and one for normal operation; an additional dynamic teach option allows the sensor to “learn” the target. Features include a sensing range up to 8 mm, flush and nonflush mounting options, and automatic PNP/NPN detection.
The device also includes an integrated humidity-compensation feature that reduces false trips and switching errors caused by sensitivity to water or humidity.
