EINDHOVEN, Netherlands, July 15, 2015 — Designed for noninvasive cancer imaging, the 2-MP Q-2A750-CXP CoaXPress camera from Adimec Advanced Image Systems BV can be used for interferometric optical microscopy, diffraction-based contrast imaging, 2D shot-noise limited bright-scene imaging and other white light interferometry applications.
The camera features 12-μm pixels with 1440 × 1440 resolution at up to 720 fps. A full well capacity of more than 2 million electrons per pixel is between 100 and 200 times higher than common CMOS sensor technology, resulting in a shot-noise performance of 63 dB. The camera can accurately detect weak contrast variations in bright environments at a high throughput.
The camera is offered in a low-power, compact outline design and does not require forced fan cooling.
