STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich., June 6, 2016 — CMOS CameraSpot Imaging has announced the Insight CMOS Camera featuring Sony’s Pregius sensor.

The camera’s USB 3.0 interface and global shutter work with a software autoexposure scheme to produce distortion-free, live image viewing of moving specimens at 22 fps, full resolution. Low read-noise and high quantum efficiency is featured.

Applications include live-cell, bright-field, histology, pathology, cytology and bright fluorescence imaging.
