CMOS CameraLUCID Vision Labs Inc. has announced the first model in its Atlas10 10GBASE-T series of cameras, which features the 24.5-MP Sony Pregius S back-illuminated global shutter CMOS sensor.

By combining a 10-Gb Ethernet PoE interface with a fourth-generation Sony Pregius S image sensor, Atlas10 delivers high performance for high-speed applications. The model features a 4/3-in. CMOS image sensor with 50 fps at full resolution. It utilizes Sony’s proprietary back-illuminated pixel structure to enable a reduction in pixel size to 2.74 μm while still maintaining imaging performance.

The Atlas10 features active sensor alignment which minimizes sensor tilt and rotation and helps to maximize optical performance of large sensors with small pixels.
