UNTERSCHLEIßHEIM, Germany, Oct. 22, 2021 — CMOS CameraThe EoSens 21CXP2 camera from Mikrotron GmbH features a 21-MP global shutter CMOS sensor and a CoaXPress 2.0 interface.

The device features a ruggedized, compact metal enclosure to stand up to harsh industrial environments. It can acquire 5120 × 4096-pixel color or monochrome images while operating at 230 fps. Its global shutter architecture allows the sensor to achieve >66-dB dynamic range.

Precise triggering, 2 × 2 binning, and a simplified set-up allows for hassle-free integration into factory automation, 3D laser triangulation, automated optical inspection of LEDs and PCBs, metrology, surface analysis, and broadcasting systems.
