JAI AS has announced the GO-5100-PGE 5-MP camera, available in monochrome and Bayer color models and built around the Sony Pregius IMX250 CMOS sensor, as well as the GO-5101-PGE, delivering the same
5-MP resolution using the Sony Pregius IMX264 CMOS imager.
The cameras feature small, 3.45-μm2 pixels, enabling the full resolution of 2464 × 2056 p to fit within a standard 2/3-in. C-mount optical format. This gives users a wider range of lens options than 5-MP cameras with a typical 1-in optical format, and also makes these cameras ideal replacements for customers using older CCD cameras built around Sony’s ICX625 sensors.
Both the GO-5100- PGE and the GO-5101- PGE run at 22.7 fps in full, 8-bit resolution over a standard GigE Vision interface, and 10-bit and 12-bit modes are selectable at reduced frame rates. Power can be provided via the GigE Vision interface or using a separate power supply.
