CMOS CamerasThe Baumer Group has announced the CX models of Sony Pregius CMOS cameras with a 1-µs exposure time.

Available with resolutions up to 1-MP, they are ideal in tasks with high light intensity such as laser welding. The devices minimize blur in high-speed applications like pick and place. The CX cameras with a 29 ×
29-mm housing design perform well in hot environments due to their high-operating-temperature capability of up to 65 °C. Additionally, they feature 1000 fps with region of interest and a dynamic range of 71 dB.

As a result of their high resolution merged with high image quality, the GigE and USB 3.0 cameras are suited for virtually any task in various industries which place the highest demands on image details and throughput.
