XIMEA GmbH has announced new camera models with Sony CMOS Pregius™ sensors.
The initial line-up includes camera models based on the IMX540, IMX541, and IMX542 sensors, continuing with sensors from the fourth-generation Sony Pregius S series. Its small pixel size in combination with backside illumination technology allows compactness and close proximity for multicamera setups. The sensors offer Global shutter readout, making them ideal for scientific applications and systems where objects move at a higher speed.
The 2.74-µm pixel size and choice of C-mount lenses allow a smaller footprint for mobility.
