CMOS CamerasThe 5.0-, 8.1-, and 12.3-MP models of the Phoenix GigE Vision camera have been announced by LUCID Vision Labs Inc.

Featuring Sony’s fourth-generation Pregius S image sensors, the Phoenix models provide high sensitivity, low noise, and excellent dynamic range for a superior image quality in a compact camera size. The 5.0-MP Phoenix camera features the IMX568 global shutter CMOS sensor and runs at 22 fps. The higher resolution 8.1- and 12.3-MP Phoenix models feature the IMX566 and IMX565 global shutter CMOS sensors, running at 13.8 and 9.0 fps, respectively.

The Phoenix GigE PoE camera module has an ultra-compact form factor, either at 24×24 or 28×28 mm, and is designed for easy OEM integration. It offers maximum flexibility with multiple lens mounts, body orientations, and Ethernet interface options.
