CMOS CamerasThree high-speed CMOS cameras have been announced by Photron USA Inc.

The FASTCAM NOVA S20 features high-speed digital imaging with 10-bit image recording rates up to 20,000 fps at MP image resolution and 0.2-μs shutter speeds. Recording rates to 1,100,000 fps are available at reduced image resolutions.

The FASTCAM NOVA R3-4K and R5-4K deliver 12-bit image recording rates up to 750 and 1,250 fps, respectively, at 800 fps 4K image resolution and 1,440 fps UHD image resolution. With shutter speeds to 2 µs, recording rates to 200,000 fps are available at reduced image resolutions.
