The Snappy Wide 8K CMOS image sensor from Teledyne e2v is designed for logistics applications with large conveyor belts.
The sensor offers a wide field of view and can replace multiple sensors, providing a more efficient and cost-effective solution. It features a 2.5-µm global shutter pixel with light pipe technology, delivering a dynamic range of 67 dB in 10-bit and 12-bit analog to digital conversion mode. The sensor features modulation transfer in any environment, low read-out noise, and low dark current for high-quality images even in low-light conditions. With a resolution of 8K × 4K pixels and a 17/9 aspect ratio, Snappy Wide is suitable for logistics and industrial applications. It is available in black and white, as well as color versions, with various resolutions. It can also be used as a high-throughput 1D linear scanner.
