TOKYO, March 19, 2015 —
A 13-MP backside-illumination CMOS image sensor from Toshiba enables smartphones and tablets to record full high-definition video at 240 fps equivalent and quarter video graphics array (QVGA) video at 900 fps equivalent.
The T4K82 model is equipped with the company’s Bright Mode technology, which increases image brightness up to four times. The device captures high-quality, high-speed video in low-light conditions and offers extended imaging functions, including smooth slow-motion playback.
