LACera provides deep-cooled, low-noise performance on a multi-MP scale with large pixels, global shutter, and glow reduction technology within one sensor. It will be available for next-generation CMOS cameras, along with x-ray, EUV, and VIS-NIR versions. Applications ranging from genomics, astronomical photometry, ultra-high-resolution x-ray and electron imaging, all require CMOS sensors and cameras with low light sensitivity and high speed.
