CHELMSFORD, England, June 23, 2016 — CMOS Image Sensore2v Technologies Ltd. has announced the Onyx EV76C664 1.3-MP CMOS image sensor for low-light applications.

The sensor’s pixel design offers high sensitivity and performance in the near-infrared spectrum, allowing the device to be used in all light environments where wide dynamic range is needed.

The sensor features an embedded active imaging system that synchronizes external illumination and internal electronic shuttering, allowing discernible color images to be produced at extremely low light levels and through diffusing environments, such as fog or smoke, by range-gating.
